Stampin' Up! Mini Treat Bag Mini Album

I recently taught a group of ladies how to use the new mini treat bag die to make a mini album.  I absolutely LOVED this project!  It was fun!  The Typeset paper pack has been my favorite since it was released in June, and I have been wanting to do a mini album using it, THEN Stampin' Up! released the Mini Treat Bag Thinlits Dies in the new Occasions Catalog and I could actually hear the angels singing.

The cover:

This mini album is quite grungy, yet so pretty and feminine.  The flowers were fun to make and watch come alive.  Several punches and stamp sets were used to make the various flowers on the cover and inside pages as well as using the Typeset designer series paper for some of the layers.  The secret for making your flowers "pop" is to add a Stampin' Dimensional between each layer.  It really makes the flowers stand out.   The flowers were stamped on Very Vanilla and heavily inked and aged  We used the Tag Topper punch to create the tag layer.  The bottom embossed layer (LOVE IT) was made using the Lovely Lace Embossing folder, then inked and grunged.  The bow is made using the new Bow Builder Punch.  The leaves and the spikey star part of the flowers are made with the Flower Frenzy Bigz Die.
The pages are made using the mini treat bag die and covered with the Designer Series Paper.  We used the Gorgeous Grunge stamp set to age the papers.  I just love love love that stamp set.  I will be REALLY sad when it retires.  We inked edges of the paper with Crumb Cake ink and Early Espresso. The leaves used on the inside pages were made using the Bird Builder Punch.  The spikey star part of this flowers is slightly different from the ones on the cover.  It is made using the new Bouquet Bigz L Die in the Occasions 2015 catalog.  It came while I was prepping for the class, and I just had to cut a few so we would have a variety of flower accents.  I think they add a lot of character to the flowers.  I will certainly use them more often!!

Tags for the pocket were made using Deco Labels Collection Framelits Dies.  Edges were inked on Very Vanilla with Crumb Cake and Early Espresso.
It was a fun class! (We were really messy when we were done, though.) This mini album would be perfect for heritage photos, wedding photos, Mother's Day gift, etc.  It lends itself to just about any occasion.  I hope you enjoyed seeing what we made at Stamping With Leisa.
